That is one screwed up movie...

EDIT: I guess I just don't understand why a game would be bothered to be made, that's all.

Thats completely out of the topic man... I tried to question whats going on here. Either that person is lying, or is this a one of a kind game??

Oh shit, that's sweet. THat movie for some reason holds a place in my heart, but the game probably sucks though. If it's real, I want it. I don't know, that means this game would have been released like 8 years after the movie. Does anyone know of a database of all the SEGA CD games?

I am going to try and find out now.

this doesn't make much sense...Sega CD was in the 90's...this was the 80's...why would someone wait this long to port that classic film? (or is it a game?) Very bizaree..

That happens all the time. Rocky was released for the PS2, Xbox, and GC a couple years ago and that movie is almost 30 years old. Fight Club was released last decade and the game is coming out at the end of this year.

I still don't buy it though. It's gotta be a fake.

So...what do you guys think?? Is that game a hoax or legitimate?

But everyone knew that Rocky was coming..my point is, during the 90's you barely saw something from the 80's being ported..especially films

I'm pretty sure that it's a fake. I collected the SegaCD for a while and have never heard of the existence of this. Wait 'till Joe posts. AFAIK, he has a pretty large SegaCD collection and should know for sure.

Does it matter if it's real or not? It looks like complete crap.

That would be interesting to see it in action.

Actually that was a pretty big movie in its day and I loved it too, and BTW they released it for the japanese famicom. The game is pretty bad on all levels but it was a case of "make a bad game off of a popular movie" thing. This would be a game that would be just mesmorizing on a new system if you could imagine being in an interactive maze like the movie.

Anything with Jennifer Connelly in it could never look like COMPLETE crap!

Well if the rest of you had scrolled all the way down to the bottom of that page, you would've found out what the answer is, and known the truth:

"Its been a couple days so I suppose its about time to spill the beans. Labyrinth for Sega CD doesn't exist. =P Those pics were devised by me in Photoshop. I just wish it exists since I'm a big fan of Labyrinth (and Dark Crystal). Convincing shots, eh? Photoshop can imitate Sega CD video grain quite well. Compare them to real Sega CD shots: Fahrenheit, Masked Rider, Night Trap.

I expected some opposition with this, like "Bah! You speak of lies!". I thought everyone here practically has the whole Sega CD game library memorized."

Now please don't scare me like that again. I have almost all of the Sega CD library that's worth having, so all I'm missing is all the sports games and all the make your own video games, but that's about it. I have almost all the rest.

My opinion doesn't count much seeing as that I no longer have a Sega CD, but I spent probably over $3000 on that console when it was still being manufactured (because I loved it). I can safely say that I either played or was familiar with (since I worked at Babbage's at that time) every game that came out for it in the US. Labyrinth was not one of them.

I'd guess this is a hoax. Although, one person suggessted that this may play like a big interactive maze--that would be neat, wouldn't it? That's my fiancee's favorite movie, too. I could score big points with her if I could produce a copy of it! LOL

Dunno about you guys, but the modern "K-A" USRB logo tipped me off that this thing was fake. Didn't they only have the prototype "MA-13" logo back in the Sega CD days? And if it was a modern release, we would have heard about it from gooddealgames.com.

Dude's got some decent photoshop skillz, though.
