Bubba 'n' Stix & Bubble & Squeak

Hey, I got these two games for Genesis this weekend and while the box looks cool, I was unable to find any reviews on gamefaqs... has anyone here played them, and if so, are they fun?

One's the kid with the baseball cap and the animated stick and the other one is the littler kid with the pet Smurfy thing, right?

I didn't like either one. To me, these were part of that era when everyone was looking to make the "next great Sonic or Mario" platformer, each one with its own little gimmick but so few rarely ever getting close.

Then again, I'm not a fan of platformer games either. So when I go through 2 or 3 levels of a game like this it's a lot. Someone who's played either one all the way through may have seen something groundbreaking that I would have missed.

Yeah, I remember those games. Like Joe said, neither one is all that great, although I definitely prefer Bubble and Squeak to Bubba and Stix. I couldn't make heads or tails out of the latter game, but the former was pleasantly cute and easy enough to play.
