It's been quite awhile since I've played something this charming and simple. Did anybody else pick this up? Thoughts? Opinions?
For the uninitiated, this is a budget PS2 title that was just released. It's been out in Japan for a little while now. It involves you rolling a sticky ball around and pick up objects to make it bigger. You start off in a Japanese home, rolling over thumb tacks and erasers and the like until your ball is big enough to roll over larger things like pencils and memory cards and mice. Eventually in later levels you're rolling over people and buildings, changing the size and shape of your ball depending on what you roll over. For example, my round ball became very hard to control when I ran over an arrow, so I had to put it sideways a bit so I could roll over some pencils to balance it out.
It uses both analog stocks, and has tank-like control sticks. You really should pick it up if you get the chance, it's $29.99 CDN and really worth it if you're looking for something a little esoteric.
