One terrible game that comes to mind is the "rare"(ish) Adventures of Kid Kleetz for the SNES, visuals aren't bad but game play totally sucks. Though I haven't played the Intellivision version, Congo Bongo sure seems to suck on its other console incarnations. At CGE I got a chance to play Custer's Revenge, this game is wrong on so many levels, perhaps most imortantly it isn't that fun to play; that is beyond the shock value which lasts exactly 5 minutes.

I played Action 52 on an emulator a couple times, and it is truly awful.

As for rare games I actually owned, V-Tennis on Playstation was craptastic.

Taromaru does score highly on the "disparity between price and fun-ness" scale - but I wouldn't say it is crappy. It's reasonably fun. Just not for that much money!!

Mine would probably be Dragon Ball Z - Legends (Saturn, PAL). Bloody difficult to find the PAL version of this game. And rather pointless, since it is so bad as to be pretty much unplayable. Really painfully bad.

i have action 52 but i kinda enjoyed it in a twisted way..

all the adventurevision games are pretty fun (i think!)...

i love river patrol... soundtrack is the best ever.
