A frind of mine who doesnt know much about games is selling me his SNES collection. Not many good games but here they are: (all loose, but have the cart covers)

Firepower 2000
Jurassic park
kirby superstar
mario world
tiny toons-buster busts loose
kirby's avalanche
megaman soccer
mario paint (w/ pad and mouse)
the terminator
TMNT-Turtles in time
X-men apocalypse
bugs bunny rabbit rampage
sparkster
bonkers
world heroes
star fox
metal combat (with a boxed scope cannon, not sure if its totaly complete, he also says it no longer works)

He told me some of the games dork work (maybe he needs to clean his snes or games) and hes also giving me a virtual boy system box too.

(tomorrow im just getting the 14 games, boxes of cannon and VB are too big to carry in school)

Whats a fari price to offer?

I would say $15-20, because he said i can have the VB box for free, and he told me the cannon doesnt work and some games too, and they arent all that rare. Also whats a boxed cannon worth?
Thanks!

I think $15-20 is WAY too low, but I guess if he bites...

Mega Man Soccer is worth that alone, IMO.

At the very least I think that most non-sports SNES games are worth $3+ each. Some of the ones that you've listed (Mario & Kirby games) are definately worth more.

You listed 17 games, do the math.

I think the question here is how good a friend are you?

Well I'm not a good friend of his, never see eachother outside of school, just talk and say hello. Id say hed take $15 and a sealed bloodrayne.

Also he told me he really wanted a super gameboy, and since I never use mine I think I might give him my SGB and like $5, I think he would be happy (when he heard I had a SGB he saounded suprised)

$30-40

maybe a bit higher but that's my estimate :sob:

hey well if your not buying them to sell Id say give him like 15 or 20. Your going to enjoy them, its not like your just trying to make profit off him. but the stuff is worth more like 35 or so.

no i dont sell any of my games, only duplicates, which in this case would only be SMW and kirby's avalanche

Megaman soccer has been going on ebay for alot of money lately.
If you get the lot for 20 dollars you should be excited.

WEll does he have a good amount of money? Id say just give him like 10 bucks and that super gameboy. It would be a good deal for you still. yes he could make more on ebay but you want to game with them and collect right? So you want them cheap.

Iv decided on giving him a supergameboy and $5. I think he will be happy because I initialy told him I wouldent give him my SGB. Probably give him one more little thing to if I can find anything...maybe his memory card :)

Kirby? Megaman? Sparskter?

Why the heck haven't you thrown down that money yet? Gah. Leave the SMW cart alone if you must, but at least get the big names from that group!

I'd say somewhere around $50 give or take - depending on how generous/non-generous you're feeling. Personally speaking, though I'd probably just offer $30.

You should offer to take him out for dinner and a movie as well. Isn't that common practice before you @#%$ somebody?

Honestly, what kind of answer are you looking for here?

If you want to ask if you're getting a good deal, the answer is yes.

If you want to know if it's a morally acceptable deal, my question to you is, "Why are you asking what we think?"

If he's not a friend, then deal away. If he's a friend, then do what makes sense.

Other than that, I don't know what else can be said in this thread that would add any value.

Good Luck.

Nice deal on the stuff. being a cheapskate is the way to be, more money for other stuff. I gotta learn to be more of a cheapskate though. @orrimarko: Lucky me, Ive seen a megaman soccer complete for $6 and jsut got another one loose for about a quarter.
