I just dug it out and played it again after like five years, and it holds up surprisingly well. Much better than Jedi Knight and other FPSs of the time.

For those who didn't play it, it was a really good FPS that had an anime style to it. About half the time, there were on foot levels, and the other half of the time, you got to pilot a mech around. It was still really fast, not one of those slow mech games. Good story, too. Worth checking out.

I've played it before, I bought it when it came out in the two-pack with Septera Core for $10 at Wal-Mart.

Definately grab the V2.2 patch if you're having any troubles with it. It doesn't really handle modern systems that well without the patch, horrible graphics issuses with GeForce cards, and crashing. The patch resolves this.

Good stuff. Surprisingly gory. Lots of fun, hilarious ending.

Heh, that was great when *spoilers* he shoots the bar person with a rocker launcher. And yeah, it was surprisingly gory. I think I remember being able to hack up the bodies with knives and blood spurted everywhere. LOL
