Well, i also discovered that the "U" is from PAL, but i don´t know if it´s from Australia or England...any info???

There's a LOT of Atari nuts there (myself included) that know quite a bit about the 2600. I checked thier database and faq, and saw no info about the 2600U - but someone there will likely know.
