Looks like a backup device. I know you could get something very similar that took a zip disc (might have been called a Dr 64 or V64). If someone is feeling really spiteful the auction might get reported, but listed that way someone might also get a real bargain.

Nah, that's not the 64DD. That's what I was expecting to see. The 64DD uses games that look like giant floppy disks, and it's a lot cooler looking than that bootleg thing. o_O

The N64 DD was a unit that hooked to the N64 and played special disks. It was only released in Japan.
Were there seperate games, or just remakes for the DD?
Or did you just copy your 64 gamest to it?

Yes, it's a CD64.
The V64 also uses CD's. The Z64 uses zip disks. I own one of each.
I don't own a CD64.

They were entirely different games. It didn't last long, so there's less than 20 games for it, I believe. There was a whole series of artistic Mario Paint style games, two Doshin the Giant games, an expansion for F-Zero X, a Sim City title, a golf game that went online, and uh... I'm starting to draw a blank. o_O Check GameFAQs if you want to know all the games that came out for it.

Don't make me list em out, N64 was an awesome system and I'm hoping you were joking. It was much better than the Playstation, and Super Mario 64 was one of the greatest games of all time, and it was actually MY favorite game of all time.
