SUPER NES GAME COPIER 3 1/2 FLOPPY RARE! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1940099214)

This looks pretty cool! Was this thing actually released for the SFC or is this a pirate? I'm guessin a pirate, but I wouldn't mind owning one ;) .

bah, that's nothing special and it's certainly not rare (misuse of the term rare.. on ebay.. noooooo  ), they're really not very difficult to come by just a little pricey (for the good ones that is, unlike that one which is a bit naff), in fact you can still buy them commercially from certain places / websites.

considering all the great snes games over 1.44meg I'd say this is pretty worthless.

What ARE some of the good ones?

I'd imagine it could involve diskswapping to break the games up on multiple disks... probably require you to insert each disk untill it's loaded the entire game into memory.

I had one way back. Super WIld Card...or Super Magic Drive. Something like that. The games did split onto multiple floppies and when loaded, they loaded into a simm chip inside the unit, then played in the Snes just as if a cartridge was inserted. Neat little unit, but still, what he is/was asking is nuts. I paid $150 I think back then, and I still see them newly sold online for just about the same price...if not less.
