I was talkin to a teacher in my tech class, and i seemed to mention an old apple 2 plus sitting in the corner collecting dust. He said he never used it, and i just might have it. I talked to the head dude, and he said he'd just give it away, because they never used it. So, chances are, im gettin it!!! whooo!!! it has a moniter, the system, & two disc drives. he told me that he had some robot crap with it too.
1. what the hell did he mean by robot stuff?
2. Any good games?

1. Perhaps it's different but, at my old high school, we had a software controlled robot that hooked up to an Apple computer. It used a language similar to LOGO to move around. Pretty neat.
2. I would suggest Wizardry, but other than that, I don't know.

I used to love an old Defender-type game called Gorgon. There was another, better Defender-style game as well, but I can't remember the name, only the shop I used to play it in.

Nice find!!! There are literally THOUSANDS of games available for this computer. (I think there were at LEAST a hundred Pac Man clones alone!) If you can find the original Castle Wolfenstein, GET IT!!!

I have a couple of Apple II's.. great computer, though no nastalgia as I was a Commodore 64 kid and my dad was all 8088 based.
It's the kind of computer that you almost always have to buy locally as the older models weigh 25+ lbs.

While most kids were into Space Panic and Lode Runner, I played a lot of Falcons, which was essentially a Phoenix clone.
