Every so often, I get around to playing the game Zoop on some system and I always think of the same question -- why is it not talked about in the collecting community more? It came out for nearly every system when it debuted, and I think that the game was a really challenging puzzle game.
Every so often, I'll pull it back out and play it for a few hours. Anyone else love Zoop? I've got a copy for the Atari Jaguar, are the other versions just not very easy to control?

I found a loose Genesis cart a while back, have it loaded onto an old Mac I bought a while ago, and most recently found a sealed copy for the PC. It's definitely a different sort of game. Not really my cup of tea (action games for me), but it's excellent.

I've never played it, but you aren't kidding when you say it was released for damn near everything. I have a tape of old MST3K episodes that has zoop commercials on it, at the end there's a good 10 or so system logos for ports of the game.

I got a copy of Zoop for the PSX a few months back cheaply. I pop it in now and then for a puzzle game fix. I find it pretty fun myself.

Zoop? Are you kidding? that was like the free sample of soap in the mail. Everyone was offered a copy, but no one really took it seriously. Especially when it was on almost every single format back in the day. Hell, didn't Jaguar have a port of this too? That says much to me...

Zoop was the easiest-to-find used SNES game on the market, aside from the usual offer of sports games...

Not a fan, it bored me to tears. Rather play Puyo.

i used to have a demo of it for pc. i loved it, but never got around to buying it. i played a wierd game called tesserae more, and that game wasn't released for near as many systems. the only ones i can think of are pc, mac, gamebody and game gear.
i think i should get zoop, just because you can find it pretty much anywhere, but the question now is...
what platform to get it for? :)

Jaguar first.
SNES second, I think. You can get it really cheaply as someone else pointed out.
Geni third.

PSX's Zoop being the rarest.

True. I think Zoop's polish is great, but the game itself is definitely of the sort you kill spare minutes, not hours, with.
For me, I'd rather try Magical Drop III :)
