View Full Version : Super Team Games on NES
My friend and I went to play Super Team Games for the NES on Saturday. For those who don't know, it is one of those power pad games. Anyway, we could not figure out how to get the race to start. Can anyone help?
I remember having this problem a few years ago, though somehow I figured it out then.

Did you ever figure this out, because I have the same problem?!

Just red in my manual for this game. It says under "How to play":
Start upright on the start positions on the Power Pad. On the mark, get set and go at the sound of the starter gun
So i guess you have to have your foot on one of the numbers on the Power Pad. In the manual there is a line on number 8 on the Power Pad and it says "Start/Running positions".
Hope that helps :)

As long as we're on the subject, does anybody know if Short Order/Eggsplode will work without the power pad plugged in? I've cleaned the cart repeatedly but only get a white screen when I turn on the NES, so I don't know if the game doesn't work or if the system itself won't let the game run without the power pad - which seems unusual because I've tested other games without the power pad so far.

It'll boot without the Powerpad. My cart works fine, and I don't own a Powerpad (unfortunately).

Yeah, you have to be standing in the "correct" position so that super team games will start. I remember testing this game out to sell and i couldn't figure it out for the life of me and i was just about to give up when i stepped on the right button.
Looks like people should have kept their manuals!
