Does the Sega Saturn play genesis games??? I just noticed a cartridge salot on it. also doesw it play sega CD or 32x Games???

If not what is the cartridge slot for???

Theres a big no on that one. It wasrumored to be for use inconjuntion with the 32x and its cartrage games. But instead it is used for RAM carts, 5 n 1 carts, and a modem.

Not for Genesis games, sadly. The slot is for memory expansion cards and (back in the day) the online adapter.

Many had hoped that the Saturn would be able to play Genesis carts, and Sega reportedly had planned to include such a feature, but it never came about.

Wow revolution x some one liked that game? The system doesn't go for too much. I bough mine for $30 $5 and free. Keep it its worth it.

dont forget the illfated neptune as well.it would have come out around the time of the saturn and would have played 32x on your genesis.

Your household is probably the only one where Revolution X isn't hated passionately...why not keep it?

i kinda liked revolution X it had cool bad guys in it, and the song eat the rich was really cool to kill people to in like 8th grade, plus when my buddy first got his playstation he only had that and twisted metal 2, so those where the only 2 games we played for about a week straight, and belive me its sad but you actully can get kinda sick of tm2 even tho its a great game, i still rember those codes tho, sometimes i catch myself popin em in when a game is on the loading screen just to warm up my fingers, same with the gta vice city codes, well look ive gone completely off subject ! hahahah
