i got a modded xbox with a white paintjob , controller port leds,led feet,dvd window,2 case mounted cold cathode fans on the sides and windows on the sides and a fan on the back also, xecuter 2 pro chip , samsung dvd drive, dual hardrive mod (select between two hardrives through a switch on the back) 1's 80 gig the other 120 gig, and also 2 usb ports on the front. its go evox and stuff on it already . im asking 400 or best offer . im a paypal verified buisness member srrecordsshit at yahoo dot com. id prefer for your safety and mine you do fraud protection when you paypal me. you can also check out my ebay feedback :

There are some modchips that can be turned off so you can play your original games on xbox live.

It has nothing to do with being "unstable". It has to do with Microsoft being able to detect and ban those machines from Xbox live. Most mod chips come with an on/off switch, so that you can go online with your original games.

thats why theres two hardrives . you can use one for xbox live . also the chip turns off theres a switch on the front and heres some photos i recently dug up:
