I third the PM to Darth. I KNOW he has a ton (unless he got rid of them). They are pretty cool but for me it takes a bit to get used to (playing on a 2600...with control pads...doesn't seem right).

eh...it just opened in July. I only found out because I hang out in #vbender WAY TOO MUCH. I can't say enough good things about the place, though.(Vid game kingdom, not #vbender...)

He modifies NES pads to work on the 2600 and does good work. Here's a picture of what the modified controller looks like which, IMO is much better than a Joypad:

Or just get your hands on some old Sega controllers. Those also work well on the VCS.

I've sold almost 200 of these and have YET to have a complaint about them. Maybe you just received a couple of bad ones.

I've always thought of giving those joypads a try, they do look neat. From what I understand, they are quite common to our friends overseas. :)

They were shipped with the European 7800. Personally, I like em. After all my years with gamepads, I find em much easier to use. That being said, they are not perfect for every game, but it's nice to have a choice. :)

When I got mine, they were all over eBay. Now, though, I can't find them listed at all. Odd.

I wish I had known about these a year ago. I bought a joypad from 8-Bit Designs, and while I absolutely love it, it was $25 for one.

It's got an Atari-style plug on the end and works great for both the 2600 and the Commodore 64, which is why I bought it. It's even programmable, so you can set a second button to the spacebar or something, which is handy on many C64 games.

Also, select on the joypad is "down" on the C64 keyboard, which is nice for scrolling through game lists and menus and such. Sometime I'll have to try those 7800 controllers.

It wasn't your opinion that offended me, it's the way you said it. You could of just said "I don't really like the joypads" or something to that effect.
