Am I the only person that thinks these commercials are really funny?

The newer ones are way funnier than the samurai one. I think I am going wierd, but I honestly think these commercials are super funny

What, like gameboy?

Handheld commercials are all pretty funny, like that (gamegear?) commercial with the guy smacking himself in the head with dead animals to see color.

no matter how funny they are (i havent seen them) they arent going to make anyone buy an N-Gage...i dont care how hard they try....no one wants the system Nokia...just give it up...or give them away

nobody said they were convincing me to buy the system, I just find these commercials super funny.

a random guy sitting in an elevator and he yells, "JUMP, JUMP JUMP!"

The only N-gage QD commercial I remember seeing was something with some alien kicking a soccer ball around in a park. I think it was for Ashen. It was just plain weird.

Now THAT sounds funny! Is that online?

I used to know an open directory with several commercials as such, but I've long since lost it I'm afraid. If I find it I'll post it.

Linky: Mega 64 (http://www.mega64.com)

Sheer hilarity. You can also find their stuff on the free DVD that's been coming with EGM lately.

They're funny, but they dont have anything on the oldschool Sega scream. :D

there were also those bizarre dc commercials, where the screen would look all wierd, showing know gameplay, and it would say stuff like, "it thinks, it hears you think, it knows what you are thinking, sega dreamcast"

i like funny commercials, because bizzare ones are too wierd. i have a saturn promo video that has little to nothing to do with saturn. there is even a biker dude in a tutu at 1 point.

Actually youre wrong.... i have one and love it....

if you ACTUALLY researched into the N-Gage, you would know it can

Emulate:
Arcade
NES
MSX
C64
Gameboy Colour
ZX Spectrum
Megadrive/Genesis

it can play Movie Files & its an MP3 player

so if anyone wants to slag this beast off, you got me to face and all my good arguements!

So the undocumented features outstrip the real features. kinda like a modded Xbox.

at least an unmodded xbox still has amazing features to use in an argument

well there goes cauterize's argument....

i will reiterate .... the nokia n-gage is a piece of shit that has no redemming qualities ... game.com may even be a better system, and that isn't even color.

I could have NES on the go with a Flash Drive/ GBAsp. It would be around the same price with a better screen and control pad.

Even after the redesign the N-Gage is still junk.

NEW N-GAGE COMMERCIALS

some are dumb, but there is 1 that makes me laugh every single time i see it. the red headed dude is sitting in what it appears to be a dentist office. he starts making wierd noises and shaking his leg. he then yells, "get off me!" and then 5 seconds later he looks normal again playing the game.

sorry fellas, but i know i am not the only person, some of these commercials are flat out funny. i could care less what they are trying to sell, i like the commercials

actually you are wrong and I don't know if the comercials have anything to do with it or if the going rate for one with a plan is $49 but most of the stores around here are sold out. Someone in another thread also mentioned Nokia just shipped another million units so somebody is buying.

I am planning on getting one soon (QD) I am buying Bounty Bob Strikes Back this weekend for the Atari 5200, so an N Gage will have to wait. The games seem to be pretty good and I too like the commercials.

sure a store can sell out when the only get 1 unit in.....even if 10,000 stores sell the system, if they only get a couple in, that really isnt a big user base

i can say i shipped 1,000,000 units out also....doesnt mean its true, but if i say it, it will convince ppl that the thing is selling, and get more interest in it
