As if the DX version didn't come with enough. Directly pre-ordering gives you 2 pewter hand painted pins and another deck of mini-playing cards! Needless to say, I canceled my other pre-order and got off the phone with the guy. My order is in, 4-6 weeks til it's shipped because the guy said everything is still in the process of being finalized. Thought I'd pass it along now that I've got my order in. ;)

The website has been down and up for awhile... I bet I was the first person to put in a direct pre-order haha... (Been refreshing their newspage each day a few times).

I tried calling them at 4:50pm (PST) and they had already turned the machine to automatic "were closed" message. The only annoying thing is that there was no mention in the recording about who you were calling. No Thanks for calling Working Desings, nothing. Kinda poopy. Im still calling them tomorrow, and canceling my Preorder at GS for it.

I called the preorder direct number (530) 243-3417 and got a phone company recording saying the number with area code was improper.
Is that the same number everyone else is calling? I'd rather buy it from WD and put all my Gamestop credit on the DS...

That's what I called about 10 minutes ago when I preorded.
Try emailing them to order if you still have problems?

LOL
Who knows? The lady on the phone said it ships in 6 weeks, which, by my calander is much, much later than the late October date they currently have set. It keeps getting shifted by weeks.

NEVER ask when a WD game is coming out. LOL
Or at least look at the original release date and add a year on to it. ;)

There's been no company, in the history of the industry, that has been so OFF on their release dates. It's one of the things that is slowly but steadily killing WD also. I honestly expect this to be their last release.

Ah, but I said COMPANY, not GAME. ;)
Name me one WD game that has come out without a release date changing three times at least. :P

yes that is almost quite true(the killing part, but don't forget the crappy translation for the saturn)>>but maybe they'll do a better job on the translations this time..(if not, then they should just die, and leave everything to Atlus)

I have yet to play any of WD's Saturn games. :hmm: I want to, but the games are expensive right now.
And I happen to like how WD 'Americanizes' their games they choose to bring over. It flows better and makes it sound like it was actually produced by westerners, like in the good old days. ;)

Called and reserved mine... (my GS reserve is shifting over to Takio Drum master or something else, probably Ace Combat 5 with Stick)
When I asked I was told 6 weeks also. I then asked when the game was shipping to stores, and my taker of names and info (a guy) said the game will hit stores within 3 days of our games shipping out. So my math makes 6 weeks from now makes the ship date Nov 9th OR Nov 16 (counting that the games has a sell date on a tuesday)

How is payment handled?
Pay now, ship later?
Give info now, charge when shipped?
Pay part now, charge rest when shipped?

When everyone else preordered, did they ask you for the 3-digit "see-id" number and the 800 number of your credit card company as well? Is that normal these days?
I don't know... that just struck me as odd. If I wasn't sure I dialed the right number, I would be terrified that I just gave someone all the information they needed to abuse my account. Still, I'm going to have to watch my credit card account to make sure nothing unusual appears.

The CID number is becoming more an more mainstream as an additional security device. Not all cards have it, but 99.9% of newer cards do. It helps in preventing theft from "card not present" transactions. The number is unique, so they can verify that this number matches up with your card number.
The 800 number is new though. I don't see much harm in it though. The most they can do is call up and verify that you have an account. Sometimes fradulent cards have wrong 800 numbers on the back.
