Yea it takes like 30 seconds to do that.

Maybe I should take half my NES Carts and switch them withthe other half and sell them all as " OMG RARE !!!!!" LOL

How would you know it had Kung Fu on it anyways? You could take any old game and claim it had something else on it.

Uhhh because the Label says what game should be in there (3-D Worldrunner ) and when you play the game in your Nes you will actually be playing Kung Fu.

And why would the seller lie about what game is in there ? It's not like he's going to get a lot for it. LOL

i couldnt even imagine wasting the time to do that....let alone wasting more time selling it on ebay

i didnt look at his other auctions, but i wouldnt be surprised to see a 3D worldrunner board in a Kung Fu case

Tholly - sweet pics in your collection. I used to have an awesome collection of NES stuff, but sold it all when I was poor.

Now i own my own video game store!! :-o

This auction really made me laugh. I bought a loose superman at a flea market for $0.25. When I got home and popped it into the Nes it was Kung-Fu. I looked closely at the lable and you could tell that the cart was popped open at some point. But why Kung-Fu?

I got a Captain America game in a a Captain Planet cart shell from a cheap ebay lot. It was close but no cigar :o No big deal really, because anyone could just buy a NES bit set and have an unlimited supply of "OMG SUPER RARE MISLABELED NES GAMESS!!11!!1"

the deal behind switched games and what not is really traced back to the rental day in age of NES games. People would rent say Kung Fu and swipe out the board with their copy of Legend of Kage and then return it to the store.

Think about... shitty flying through the air hitting flying ninjas karate game or cool punch and kick their ass good sound karate game. I'd take my chances with kung-fu, as i am sure many did. This wasn't just kung fu that it happened to, that was just my experience. I am sure it happened to others as well.

Just look at the top gun example. Top gun or Kung Fu? Kung fu for sure.

This might be why nintendo switched from regular screws to the secruity screws... just my thoughts.
