Well, I have been pondering and such, and I have lost all interest in updating Snes Central. It isn't that I have lost interest in collecting information for the snes, but updating a website is far to tedious for me to want to do anymore. I have considered letting someone else do the updates, but I doubt there would be anyone who I know would be trustworthy and have a long enough attention span to keep doing it. I will likely still do an occasional update, but nothing like I used to. I would never consider some other site taking things over, so I guess the site will pretty much remain static.

D'oh! Well, you gotta do things that *interest* you. This isn't a death, but a new beginning - or at least some free time to enjoy!
I say, after all the quality work you've put into that site nobody will begrudge you a little R&R :)
Oh yeah, almost forgot. The End = classic!

Has been dead for a long time but still remains a good resource.
It bothers me to see good sites vanish completely so I hope you'll at least let it sit and continue to be a resource for SNES gamers.
Take a break and let the site sit static for awhile and see were things go. :)

The site isn't going anywhere, unless my hosts at edgeemu say anything. But they haven't said anything to me for over a year.

You should at least copy and paste this onto your site so people who visit the site but don't visit DP will know why youre not updating it anymore. Just a suggestion.
I hope that someday someone makes a site that is just as good or better as yours is, it sucks that there arent very many SNES sites out there. Maybe once SNES collecting picks up someone will make a great SNES site. Id attempt it myself if I had the time.
Thanks for your contributions to SNES fans everywhere.

actually..... i'm working on a new snes site but don't expect ANYTHING to go public before the end of 2005, i haven't coded anything yet nor do i have any graphics yet (i suck at graphics and don't have the time right now to code anything...) .. BUT i've got a pretty good concept that connects my own snes collection with a snes info site and i've already got enough content for a small start-up, but i'm not willing to start it at the moment... there will be one big problem for you though, the site WILL be english and german, but all reviews will be german only, i just don't have the writing skills in english it would take for a good review nor the time (or anyone) to translate the german reviews....

Oh my god, I think you've discovered the most generic videogame in history.

At some point, I do intend to do another update, as I have some things to put on that were submitted to me. But again, that likely won't happen for a while.
