ebay name is:
great.throwdini
Seems he is constantly bidding (and winning) on Colecovision consoles. Just browsing his feedbacks I see he has purchased quite a few! And bidding on more. Is he from here? What is he doing with all these consoles? One must wonder...

I noticed that too, he has out bid me on some stuff too, I am not willing to pay quite as much as he does in most cases.

I remember this guy. He gave me three positives for three Colecovision cartridges I sold him. The comments were not that good though. I was really pissed off when I read them so I left him a neutral on Oct. 13 for being so picky. He's lucky I don't leave him negatives for the other two that I didn't leave comments for but I'm not THAT mean ;) He buys and sells with the same account on ebay. He should at least get a separate selling account. He probably does considering how many Colecovision lots this guy has won! He even outbid me on a couple.

?? :hmm:
Why? And I always give feedback to buyers right after they've paid. Once they've paid promptly, what exactly is a buyer supposed to do other than that to earn a positive? I realize you run a risk of no feedback, but you do regardless. That's what followup is for.
I'm curious.

Wow..........I MUST be a moron.
1. this person buys 3 carts from you
2. I assume you get the money first before you send the carts out to this person.
3. at this point your side of the deal is done, so shouldn't YOU leave the appropriate feed back??
4. The person apparently received the goods and was happy because they left positive feedback (according to you).
BUT because you're "not THAT mean", you only left one neutral.
EBAY!!! I fucking don't get it! >:(

I usually leave positives right away. For this transaction I didn't get a chance. The games I sent him were exactly as described and I shipped them in a bubble envelope and wrapped it tightly. He says they were shipped loosely in a PADDED envelope. A bubble envelope gives far more protection than a padded envelope. Right there he lied and I just got pissed off! He is also a seller and I felt he was doing this to possibly get more people to buy from him by cutting me up since we sell the same stuff. I usually have perfect transactions but this guy just had to cut me up for reasons I don't understand.

Neutral : ** SELLERS BEWARE ** No Pleasing this guy! POOR COMMUNICATION!
I guess it's good then that this time you hadn't left feedback yet. That way you could give feedback to his feedback. I'm not partial to that, but hey, it's a free market, and it seems to work for you. Just me.
I appreciate the opportunity to gain more info about a seller I've nearly bought things from before. Thanks for signing up!

as I'm sure a lot of you guys know by now I buy and resell a lot of cv stuff on ebay. Well last week Great.Throwdini sent me a series of emails expressing his anger with me.
Apparently, there were a few auctions he had been watching where I emailed the guy and asked him to add a buy it now price. The guy did, and I bought the stuff.
Throwdini thought this was "low" of me to do, because he wanted to bid on the stuff to. He said I was being "unfair".
So yeah, a bit of a jerk there.

What am I missing here, from what I see (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=great.throwdini&items=200&page=1&frompage=-1&iid=-1&de=off) this guy have no neutral feedback at all and no feedback left for him on October 13th.
Edit: I suppose one of the reasons that I couldn't find the feedback that you spoke of was that I was looking at feedback left in 2004 while this thread was created TWO YEARS AGO. :? But the funny thing is that this guys doesn't seem to have any neutral feedback at all. Where did your feedback go?

Ok, there are a bunch of us who bid over and over on CV auctions... if he had any smarts this guy should have placed an opening bid to prevent this from happening. That is what I do... it's his own fault for not placing a bid and he should not be criticizing you at all.

Funny thing is, he usually places an opening bid just to eliminate buy-it-nows. I've seen him do this for two years now. He will iterally bid on practically every CV item just to eliminate the BIN, even though he may not have the intention of eventually winning the item. I guess in this case he never had the opportunity to do so since the BIN was added after the item was listed.
I agree, he must be destroyed along with andre_henretta
