SNES DX? Tell him that he needs to lay off the 'shrooms.
Get it? Like Mario?

You mean a Wildcard DX backup unit? AFAIK, those are worth around $100 depending on the model and memory size

At first I thought that was somebody pointing with their foot to a SNES keychain LOL

Well, I'll bet I'm not the only one who thought this would be another Dracula X SNES value topic!

Since Ebay generally won't allow you to sell rom reading/writing devices on it, what is a good place to find a reasonable price on such a device? Am I left to somply hunt the wild until I come accoss one, or is there a ::looks over shoulder:: a better... secret way of finding these things?

I was just looking online for some info for a recent copier I just won off of ebay (it was in a bundle with other items, and didn't really identify itself as a rom copier..) and I came across this site:

www.success-hk.com - I've never done buisness with them, so I don't know If they are cool or not. They have the UFO rom copier - but not in stock right now. I am waiting to get my UFO in the mail - so I'll see if it is any good.

If you find a place, let us know. I often tell people I've been collecting console copiers since 1995 and have bought every one I've ever found. I own 7. That's not exactly true though ... I've actually seen like 12 for sale, the others were either sold before I got there or were way overpriced (and by that, I mean more than what they cost new, which was high to begin with).

There are a couple of places on the web that sell them -- robwebb's site is one, tototek is another. Just be ready to pay a lot and be patient with shipping.
