So I got The Sims 2 today...After a couple hours of tweaking I finally got the game working....After playing for a while I noticed how laggy it was. Anyone else experience this?

Well...Sims2 isn't really a game that has anything to do with a network so I assume by lag you mean frameage and the like. The obvious answers would be to turn down graphical settings, make sure you don't have anything eating too much background processor/memory, and upgrade your hardware if need be.
