Pac-Man Billboard (EDITED: Now with picture!)

On the way to work today, my almost 3 year old son began pointing and yelling, "Pac-Man, Pac-Man daddy, Pac-Man!" When I looked out the window, there was a huge billboard with Pac-Man on it.

When we got up closer, it was a billboard for Sonic Drive-In. The Pac-Man was actually a slice of lime, and then there were dots and then a real strawberry. I can't remember if the dots were anything or not.

Anyone else seen one of these? I'll try and take a picture this evening of the billboard.

Just another "sign" that retrogaming is back!

Sonic, otherwise known as Checkers, otherwise known as Rally's has wonderful food. It's generally very cheap too - I just got two double bacon cheddar cheeseburgers, along with fries and a drink for like $6 the other day.

Their fries are the absolute best too. :-P

We have a Checkers by me and like a year ago they advertised "screaming chicken strips." I know it was just bbq chicken wings but it made me think of angry chickens pulling off their feathers like an exotic dancer.

A SOnic was recently opened in my town, something like 2-3 months ago. It's good. My town is so small, though, that we don't have any sort of billboard's at all in it.

O_O We have both Sonic and Checkers here, and they are very different places, with different menus. Maybe it's different elsewhere.

Rally's (typically more northern)=Checkers (typically more southern)

Hardees (typically more eastern)=Carl's Jr. (more western)

Sonic has no other name.
