My fav would be the Japanese Famicom model, the classic NES second and the Zelda one third

Famicom Mini (1st model and 2nd edition)
NES Model
There was a gold one released in the USA, it was a Toys R Us Exclusive back in Christmas of 03', came with Mario Advance 4
The Lime Green (came with Donkey Kong Country) GBA SP from Target was nice, I saw it once

For U.S. released ones I would go with the classic model.
But my favorite overall is the limited edition Char "Gundam" model :-P

I just really dig the Platinum one. Though I did see this cool original Game Boy (http://image.lik-sang.com/images//large/gbaskin-gb-classic.jpg) skin, and this Naked Woman (http://www.decalgirl.com/prodimg/gameboy/gameboy-sexy-470.jpg) skin (perfect for Father's Day).

I like the red one. I know its not a special one but they don't make that much video game stuff in red. I like red alot and its the one I owne.

The red one is cool too, probably my second favorite!
And my daughter has the Pink one which is so girly that it's cool!
I'd like them to make a neon lime green, spice orange and a metalic (metal flake) midnight blue.

I have a Red one, but I have always wanted the solid white one. Next I like the black. Famicom over the NES one. Zelda one as well. In no real order. But a white one would match my iBook.

There is, but it's for Donkey Kong, not Monkey Ball.
At least I swear there is. I can't find hide nor hair of it, but I remember posting a thread about it. Weird.. I wonder if it never got released or something. It was bright yellow. And it might have had a DK logo on it. And some other stuff. Who knows.

The best looking IMO is the Famicom eddition. I picked up one when I was on vacation, It's Pearl White and that wonderful famicom red, a site to behold indeed.
After that, for the US I have to say the Black or Platinum versions. The NES version we got here in the states was rather disappointing.
EDIT: and has anyone seen the box for the famicom edition (mario theme) it's awesome!

1) The two-tone metroid one they did in club nintendo..
2) Mega Man SP they did a while back..
3) Famicom Competition SP
And i think the FFTA pearl white one deserves a mention too..
And the Zelda one coming out here in europe..
And the normal Famicom SP..
And the Gundam one..
And lastly the NES ones not bad either..
I'll stop now..

For me, the best looking SP is the Sword of Mana LE SP. It's so beautiful. Not the blue one, but the teal one. The second best would be the Triforce SP. That one is great looking as well.
For me, it's the Classic NES SP and the solid white one.
