Didn't Link already win once or twice? I stopped paying attention after the first one. It seems everytime they do it either cloud or link wins. Ness(earthbound) actually got a few wins this time, which was great!

Wow, maybe there's still some good left in GameFAQ's after all! Up until this, I'd completely lost faith in any objectivity in any of their contests (Not that I have faith now, mind you... but perhaps "less lack of faith").

I never pay attention to it, because of all the Square fan boys on that site is sickening, but the one time I pay attention, it's Link...I have never remembered an Nintendo character getting respect on that site, so I was surprised

It's objective. The voters just have crappy tastes.
I got 178 points this year. :) Just a little more improvement and I might actually win something next time.

You know, these character battles would be the slightest bit interesting if they changed it to SSBM level 9 AI quad-elimination. Heh. It would certainly make it more interesting to wager on, especially if the stages were predetermined.
