Hastings is finally clearing out their N64 section now. I cleaned out my local store. Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, Mario Party 3, Snowboard Kids 2, Bust a Move 99 + more= $5 each. Rush 2049, SF Rush 2, Pilotwings, Chameleon Twist 2 + more =$2.99 each.
Go clean 'em out!
Also, do you suppose Shenmue 2 (Xbox) will ever be worth anything? I'm just curious, as Hastings has a brand new copy in their clearance section for $5.99.
I've never really gotten into Shenmue 1 or 2 (I tried!) on DC, so I wouldn't get any play value out of it.
What do you think?

I've never even heard of Hastings. :( Those are pretty sweet prices; I wish I could get prices like that around here.

Too bad my Hastins went under a year ago. Oh wel, I did pick up 30 or so CDs I wanted for about $7 a pop. And a bunch of books to boot. Maybe if they actually had reasonable prices in the first place they would have survived.

do they have a website or a list of locations. I am in NJ ,and I have family in CT, TX and friends in Nashville. I would love to get my hands on a handful of these titles.

They also have a chain of sister stores (same look, same font, different name), but I'll be damned if I can remember what it's called.
Oh yeah, the boxes were actually in decent shape too. Some with manuals!

Just remembered the name. It's "Carrolls". Same store.

So what do you guys think about Shenmue 2? Deal at $6, or a waste?

Shenmue 2 for that price seems goof to me. I loved both Shenmue titles.
Are these games at Hastings New or Used? I assumed it was a retail store and they were new

Deal if you're going to play it, waste if you're going to resell it.
Atleast around here, many stores still have new copies going for $15-20. And right around that price range on eBay.

There's a Hastings right next to my house. I know they rent games, so these might be used. I also know that like with CD's, they take trade ins (bring in your used CD's for credit) so they might also be other people's games.

Oh yeah. They are used. Good shape, but used.
The other games ($10 Xbox and GC games, etc.) are often used but not always. I grabbed a new Crazy Taxi 3 and new Gauntlet Dark legacy for $10 each there.
Lots o' good stuff.

My Hastings got rid of the N64 games about a year ago, and unlike the NES and SNES games, they sent them to another store, instead of letting me buy them.
They do have a couple of new N64 games behind the glass case though... I wonder if they ever marked those down...

My Hastings was only clearing out their former rentals for cheap. They all have the box, but no book, and they are all in pretty bad shape. But I got Tetrisphere, Space Station Silicone Valey, and Dark Rift for 2.99 w/ box. (also bought Castlevania: SOTN non greatest hits for 9.99 and it's in excellent shape!).
It's not bad for new PSX games either; I have picked up a sealed Um Jammer Lammy for 5.99 & a sealed Wild Arms 2 for 19.99 with their clearance. I know a store that still has Arc the Lad, but it was last marked at 59.99. I need to go back to see if it's dropped in price yet.
Let me take this opportunity to further pimp Hastings 4 for 1 game trade in deal. It's pure gold.
