Here in Toronto there's a mall called "Pacific Mall" and you can guess the type of stores and motif of this place.

About 10% of all the stores sell stuff like this. It's amazing how realistic they can make the cases. Heck, I didn't even know that there was H/W on the market made to play VCDs only before visiting this place!

Very interesting,

LK

He isn't selling VCD anime.. He is selling the original 320x240 15 FPS RealPlayer rips. Most computers couldn't play them now sense Realmedia made the player 30 day shareware.

There are 640x480 Divx AVI dvd rips of the entire Ranma1/2 Library now but not to the 6th season, so this guy is selling some really bad looking video. I remember thinking how cool it was that you could fit Season 1 of Ranma 1/2 on a single CD-R.. But now I look at it and think.. you got to be kidding, this looks like crap.

Exactly. If it had been a true VCD, I wouldn't have bothered posting it. On any given day on eBay, I can find several hundred VCD's: some pirated, some home made, some original.

Yup, definitely sounds like a regular CD-R, not the original VCD (or whatever format it originally came in). Too many things, plus the mention of roms kinda give it out...

I got bored and decided to raz this guy for selling Viz Video property. This guy cracks me up.. reminds me of almost every person who knows they are doing wrong but try to make themselves feel better about it.
Enjoy!

>Let me guess Realplayer rips.. they all look like crap, and your selling
pirated material. You do realise your going to burn in Hell now. BURN!!! >: |
>--------------------

You do REALIZE you are an illiterate son of a gun right?? What's your problem?
You want a set so you can try to make money? Why don't you leave your name you
freaking, uneducated coward. Let me guess, you're a mid teen right? I would
hope so. If you're older, GOD go to college. Hey, you hungry?? Eat a dick!!!
Oh this is Robert, you wanna come down here to Cali?? Hey and you know what??
Yeah I have real media formats, but I also have VCD formats. You know what
else?? You probably got ripped off by someone else, or you're and alias/ friend
for someone elses auction to help boost up their sales. I think I've seen
you're ID/email before. Before you come here criticizing, grab a education on
your way next time. And go bitch at other sellers. Oops!! Did I just say
bitch?? Oh wait, they say it on national television so it must be ok, right??
Oh yeah....have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING you ungrateful ingrate!! May God bless your sorry ass.

Next email.. unsolisited he just sent it for no reason lol

Oh, it's not the only thing I sell. Besides you're just selling CRAP!! Atari,
HAH!! I got three of those. I also sold two laptops and a few game systems.
I'm just getting other sellers to give up hope in selling this so called crap by
undermining their prices. Which is why I'm assuming you're getting all worked
up about this. Ok, happy holidays dick.

and yet one more unsolised email! :hmm:

Oh, and I hardly think overseas countries have any (bi)laws against pirating.
That's why they sell promo copies off as authentic huh?

So I sent back this Email in response.

HAHa, Go fuck yourself bootlegger.. burn in HELL you property thief. I hope Viz Video comes and fucks you up the ASS! .. without lubricant!! Ha!

lets see what happens :D

It's funny how he razzes you back by saying that you're an illiterate son of a gun etc., and yet he doesn't know the difference between your and you're... :?

Fact is, it is obvious that what he's selling are rips in one form or another. Otherwise he wouldn't include "bonus material" with them.
