That's sweet. Much nicer job than the "Confederate" Xbox you can find on eBay.

Wonder how long that took?

Heh, I was gonna say...that game's been in development longer than Duke Nukem Forever (though not by as much anymore)! LOL

Yea, looks really cool. I wonder how much he would sell a thing like that for. I also wonder why he chose hellraiser.

You almost made me crap my pants. I thought an actual Hellraiser game was actually going to be released...

Holy Crap!!!

Awesome job, man! So are you going to sell it for $5000 to a rabid Hellraiser fan? I hope you put a clear coat or something on after...would be a shame to scratch that paint job...

He probably chose Hellraiser because it's the movie that has the spooky ass puzzle box that looks like that. All I know is that if I had that gamecube, I couldn't use it because I'd be afraid of it spinning around on it's own and throwing hooks and chains at me.

Agreed. As a fan of the hellraiser series this is one of the most amazing paint jobs I've ever seen, the guy did one hell (heh) of a job. Makes me want to do the same thing, and maybe I will add the throwing hooks and chains :devilish:

Rbudrick- Someone said in an earlier post "i wonder why he chose hellraiser". So I hope you feel kinda stupid now... don't try and embarass someone.

Yea that is really freaking cool. Best paintjob I have ever seen on any kind of system. Good job to whoever did it.

Wow that's a lot of damn detail. Nice. I was hoping this would be a hellraiser game. I remember in one of them like someone's face gets electricuted and blood flies all over the place and he's like "AREHREGFDJ". That would be fun to do to some random guy.

Mario, thanks for getting my back. That is without a doubt the coolest paintjob I've EVER seen, but I'm serious about not using it. I'd probably sit it in the middle of the floor and stare at it for hours while playing scary music.

in my opinion, its pretty friggin ugly

id rather just have a plain black cube over that thing

in the picture on the right you can see where the pain is globbed on and you can see the brushstrokes

could have been better if you ask me

I think some of that's due to the flash on the camera. I imagine he did have to do it all by hand though, that seems pretty intricate to have been done with spraypaint and stencils like a lot of case mods.

people may be able to do better, but you can tell alot of work was put into that system. congrats to him on that.

i get freaked out by really scary movies like hellraiser, and would have nightmares and pee my pants if that cube was anywhere in my house. :yipes: :bawling:

Brilliant! I love the Hellraiser series. Just got a used Gamecube myself and I'm really tempted to try this. I would maybe try to thread all the cords (power, a/v, and controllers) through thin chains with wide links for the total effect. But I'd probably skip the big hooks on the ends LOL

Mas2600: Lighten the fuck up.

I wasn't trying to embarass anyone. I knew what he meant, I just thought it looked funny without quoting the person who was wondering why he chose the design. I was making a joke, not intending to be at anyone's expense. I kind of doubt the author was offended. So lighten up.

Hope I feel stupid...sheesh...you're pretty fucking spiteful, aren't you? I would never wish any ill will on you for something that menial. Grow up, dude.
