Best Mario Party?!?

What is the best mario party in your opinion?

I have played 1-4, and I enjoyed 1 the most. 2 was super difficult, and 3 was too themed. 4 has some interesting boards, but they eventually just got annoying because you could never get over to the star. I haven't played 5 or e, so I can't say anything about them. 1 is by far the best one I have played so far.

I have played all of them. I Liked the mini game island in the original, but I generally like 4 better. I hated 5, and I would say that 3 is my favorite on account of the duel boards.

Having only played 1 and 4 I would go with 4. The mini games rule and getting the stars was a piece of cake ;)

It doesn't really matter much to me at all. They all are alike it seems. I just wish the mini games were a little longer. 6 should be intresting... with the new controller and all.

Hmm...Ive only played 1 and 4 as well and loved 1 but thought every mini game in 4 sucked. LOL

I would say it was back when he lived on the strip. He had all these celebrities over and started doing triple jumps off of his walls. Then he punched his brother and took his coins ala original Mario Bros and tripped out on Magic Mushrooms, insisting he was "Super Mario."

Hilarious. Best Mario Party ever.

oh yeah, you know you bust your butt to do good when you have a permanent scar from rotating the joystick too much.

nintendo should have kept those. if you can't stand the heat, stop playing mario party :angry: :devilish:

I liked those mini-games, the ones rotating the stick on the N64, but damn, I know those games wore out my joysticks on the controllers.

I own all the Mario Party's, 1-5, but probably like 5 the most. Me, my brother, and neighbor always play them, actually my neighbor is getting ready to come over and play MP5 here in about 30 mins.
I don't consider the mini-games all the best, but love everything else. The games speeded up and do love the courses.
MarioParty 4 is definately my second fav.
I need to bust out MarioParty 1-3, can't really remember them exactly.

I don't particularly enjoy the Mario Party series, despite owning 1-4 (chalk it up to my collecting habit :P ) but I would have to say #3. It seems to be the most fun game to play with multiple people because of the duel boards.

I have owned at one time 1- 4(I seem to have lost 1-3 already... stupid sister). Personally, I liked the original. THe Hole in the palm games always brought out the true Mario Party-goers. the latter ones just seem to me to be less hardcore of games, and do not spart the actual "All-Night" Parties that the oringianl one advertised (and evoked in me and my buddies). Rememebr the Mario Party 1 Commercials???? Those were classic. Anywho, I HATE 3 and dont like 4 that much, 2 was ok, but 1 was the bomb

whenever im out and i find cheap controlers for the n64 i pick em up just to burn out on mario party, i get really into it and end up breaking the stick right off hahahhah good times.
