Metroid Prime Help Please?

Okay, I don't like having to start a topic for this, but after spending about 4 hours last night trying and dying over and over, I figure I'll come here for help. In metroid prime, on talus(I think it is) there's a boss that is a GIANT flower. I can bomb it three times, but after that, when all four solar panels are down, I cannot for the life of me get them all up to get another bomb attack. I have beam charge, 25 rockets, ball, and ball bombs. Am I taking it on too early? Or is there a trick to it that I'm missing? :hmm:

Please help me if you can, I don't wanna spend another 4 hours getting nowhere tonight.

Yup, you have to use the charge beam to knock up the sunlight relflectors that are down, and then start shooting the creature to keep him stunned while you move from one reflector to the next. Once you knock up all the reflectors, a path will open up for you with the morph ball and you go in and bomb his body. Then add water and repeat 3 more times. I just kept charge beam stunning him as I walked slowly from one reflector to the next with strafe. Beat him first try in fact. Good luck!
