Wow....with what a single sealed game goes for, not to mention NES, I shudder at what these 54 may end at.

A collector getting out, perhaps?

Certainly seems that way. He's been selling nonstop for a while now, including some good stuff. It seems like this is an auction for "the rest" i.e. all the low value games he can't be bothered to sell individually.
The metroid is not sealed, btw, to anyone thinking of bidding. Seller confirms that.

ehh. there's been several up lately, only $25-30 or so. you can find another. certainly not worth buying the other 55 just for that.

Damn those boxes are in MINT condition, or at least it looks like it from the photos.

c'mon. How can anyone tell from faraway pics like that. They could have dents and bad corners. Not saying they do, just saying you can't tell.

Which is why I said from the photos.

Those are Classic Series Zelda games...not sure how that will impact the price, though.

They ALWAYS selll at a couple hundred less than the originals.

Yet the Classic Series Metroid is more hard to find than the original, am I right?
Yeah, that's a different game, of course, but the difference intrigues me.

No, not at all. The classic series metroid is harder to find loose, but as a sealed game the original is tougher.
None of which matters because that metroid is not sealed. In fact, now that I think back, I'm pretty sure he bought that metroid from me. Minty complete, but that's it.
And those zeldas, as nintendoman pointed out, aren't really worth more than 300 for the pair on a good day.
If the people bidding on this aren't sniffing anything, it shouldn't break a grand. There's just nothing special in that entire lot. Out of the three best games in the lot two are classic series and one is open...

Yea it says that the top of the Metroid Game is ripped and has tape on it.
That's quite misleading. Oh it's new and sealed never opened , I swear. But the top has a slit in it just like a slit made to open and play the game and then put it back.
Oh man, I have quite a few of these types of "sealed" games. LOL

@_@
Looks to me like he got a box or two of sealed Nintendo games somewhere and has been offloading them. And yeah, it does look like the classic series Zelda goes for a bit less ...

That sealed Super Mario Kart price was asinine. 400 clams can buy a lot cooler shit.

Wow, it ended at a lot less then everyone predicted.
You know what would be funny, if the winning bidder wasn't really a collecter and opened them all to play them.

Ahem. I said it wouldn't break a grand... didn't. ;) Winning bidder is a collector though. He won't be opening them anytime soon. Although for like the $13 each or whatever that he paid, he could..

i so would.
I'd sit in my room with a razor blade, open each game, crumple up the shrink wrap and toss it in a big heap on my floor!!!
