How many games have you beaten?

I realized recently that I actually havent beaten that many games well at least compared to how many I own so I decided to make a list of games that I remember beating and stuff and its around 40 which doesnt seem like that much compared to how many I own. So how many games has everyone else beaten? Am I the only one that hardly ever beats games?

I actually have a bad habit of getting to the end of games but NOT beating them. Out of all the games I have I'd say I've only beat half of them or less, so probally like 200-300ish games beaten?

For the main part, I don't finish many games, with the exception of good RPGs. Lately I have become a "pick-up-n-go" gamer, playing games like Vice City, and random DC Sports titles, no commitment games, if you will.

So yeah, I don't finish many games, but I would say like..20 in my lifetime, out of the 100's I've played.

Folks, you're talking to someone who has been gaming for about 25 years now.....and has had multipule consoles and computers in my house.

I USED to keep records of games I played back when I was a kid, but I stopped doing that when I went to college.

I'm going to have to think about this some more, but if I was to make a rough estimate, I'd say around 500 games.

That is my SAME probably. For some reason I spend all these hours to the end and stop playing, lose interest, or for whatever reason and then never finish the game.
I would estimate like 100-150 or so.

I actually keep track of every game I've finished over the years, and my list currently shows 254 games. Not much though, considering I have over 2000 games in my collection.

Back when the NES was at large, I actually did up a list of all the games I had beaten, and it was WELL over 100. That was 20 years ago. I would GUESSTIMATE well over 1,000 by now, console only.

I beat almost EVERY game I play, that's not a brag, I just HATE to play a game and not beat it. If I need a walkthrough, or a lower difficulty rating, so be it, but I beat at LEAST 9 out of every 10 games I play.

I know for sure I have beaten 130 NES games (I have a list!) and many RPGs for all systems. If I add up every game for every system, probably around 350-400 games.

probably around 250 I can't really say for sure. I've beaten tons and tons of pc games, and quite a few for consoles. Ironically I've never beaten the first game I owned, Super Mario Land. It always freezes right before I get to the last level.

I say some people saying that they have a habit of making it really far then not finishing a game. I do that also. Ill make it almost to the end of a game die once then be like screw it.

I got this collection thing going.

Where I can only purchase a new game if I beat one of the ones I have. Keeps things fun and cheap. :)

So I have beaten quite a few. Probably about at least 125 and about 30 of those are RPGS.

I've beaten 85 out of all 200 playable games in my collection. I actually keep a list of games I've beaten and haven't beaten.

Anyway, I've kept a list since 6th grade, along with the time it took me to beat each one.

I have beaten over 200(console). I own less than 200 beatable games. My own vs. beat average is in the wrong direction in my opinion.
I beat alot at friends houses and rented games.
I beat Pokemon Snap in under 2 hours so i kept all the stuff it came with(stickers and postcards) and returned it to Block Buster in disgust. The only game i have ever returned.

I have this weird thing -- I seem to often times get really close to beating games I love, and then stop short of actually finishing them. I am on the last scene of Grandia II and have been there since January. I played Headhunter all the way up until the last two scenes and stopped there. Now I feel like I can't just pick it up and play again :(

I did beat a bunch of older NES games like Super Mario Brothers, Dragon Warrior, Maniac Mansion and so on, but I have no clue how many.

The most recent game that I almost completed was Maximum Carnage for the Geni. I played it and all of a sudden the credits started rolling, so I watched for a bit and got up to turn the game off, not really caring to see the credits. When I did, as soon as I pushed the button in, Carnage came back and I had one life to start beating him. Seeing as how my CDX button was already pushed in, I had no way to actually attempt to play :sigh: Well, anyway, I'll count it.

I'll make a guess at 100 games, which is probably about 20% of my collection overall. I've been trying to actually beat a lot more games lately though... We'll see how the XBox collection goes ;)
