What a joke! US $2,782.17 and the reserve still hasn't been met yet! Yeah, they really wanna get rid of that ghost alright. It would be funny if Michael Jackson did buy it though. I can just see the headlines in the tabloids now:

"Spook Buys Spook"

I know, that was really bad and an insult to black people, but you have to admit it is funny. I don't have anything against black people, but we're talking about Michael Jackson here. There's something not right with that boy, and he looks white as a ghost now anyway, so he is pretty spooky.

Hey, maybe Sting should get in on the bidding too. He was hoping that someone would get his Message in a Bottle on that Ghost in the Machine album, now we know where he got his inspiration from, it was this auction.

Well, you can't really call Michael Jackson black since he hasnt been black since...uh...Thriller? But sometime in the early 90's he turned into some alien creature and cannot be considered black, white, or human.

But he was the king of pop in the 80's and no amount of dangling babies or child "sleepovers" will ever take that from him.

This is the most retarded auction ever. Who the hell would bid on this? In a serious manner that is.

What the Flagstaff...this auction IS at 2.7 MILLION dollars......are we seeing this right? An empty bottle with a torn bible page in it for how much???

OK now that really is lame. What kind of sicko would want a lost soul trapped in a bottle? Oh OK so that explains why Michael Jackson is bidding on it then.

Where is everyone getting this 2.7 Million figure from? I see the auction at $1,550 GBP... :hmm:

Hey! :)

Take a look at the bidding history - eBay cancelled not only those people's bids of up to 2.7 Million, but their accounts as well. It's just a coincidence that now it's at 2,700.00 and not 2.7 Million like yesterday.

Amen. He may be a freakish alien/pedophile but he has musical talent coming out of his ass.

Man that is the weirdest thing. I was checking out some of those guys that bid on the item and at least one of them had 100 percent feedback with like 80+ sales/buys. Why would he risk his account?

You know, I simply can't figure out why they would risk such a high feedback rating to bid on something like that. I guess eBay taught them, LOL. Surely they didn't have 2.7Million...unless they have stock in Microsoft... :P

I was checking out their previous buys/sales and all they had were like video game sales lol.

Alot of bids must have been canceled because it is now around 250.00 US. I think that the spoof auction is hilarious. Written the same, and people are bidding on it. LOL

all i have to say is this (it was already said, but it is very true): if you are just trying to get this "burden" out of your life and are trying to find a new caretaker for this spirit, why in the hell are you charging so much for it. I think the evil spirit is the person selling the item. How are you going to make money literally selling somebody's soul? (if that is what is really in the bottle)

I'm glad to see that ebay is starting to enforce its rules about bogus bids and interferring with other people's auctions.

Why would ebay freeze the bidders accounts? Could they prove that they wouldnt pay ?

Ebay reserves the right to cancel your account for no reason at all. Its in the user agreement.

Real or not, Exorcism is not something to mess with, that bottle should just be destroyed. Why sell it? Just to cause trouble.

I just think it's sad that attaching Michael Jackson's name to something this silly could attract this much attention.
