Australian NES Toploader - Cant get it to work!

Hey Dudes,

I bought a minty boxed Australian PAL NES Toploader off eBay ages ago.

It was so minty, and I didn't have time to test it!

I've just been attempting to get it to work,

But I cant seem to!

It came with its Australian Power supply which is two prongs, we use three prongs here in the UK, so I've hooked it up to a UK NES power supply

(The input and output voltages are exactly the same, so nothings blown up)

Connected it to my UK tv with a standard RF lead

Unfortunatly... tried it on 2 TV's,,, and it wont tune in!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have any ideas, or have I been had?

I bought this some months ago.. so its not like I can get a refund or anything

Does it power up alright? Maybe you need to just put it on a random channel. I have a couple famiclones that only come in on like channel 50 (example). Though those aren't offical products either.

I've changed cart and managed to get some kind of picture

But its black and white and FUZZY AS HELL

Any ideas?

It has to be the channels then. You might also just have a bad rf, you should just try another one.

I just tuned it into a REALLY stupidly low channel? and its perfect picture.

There was no sound, so on the menu, I changed from "GB" to "EURO" and the sound came on :evil:
