View Full Version : How to delete memory from a N64 controller pack?

I just got Hybrid Heaven, and my Controller pac ( pelican is the company who made it) does not have enough memory.
how do i do this?

Hold start when booting a game which uses memory cards for saving.
If I remember correctly, I think you just press and hold Start when you power up a game that supports the controller pack.

I think you just need to hold a few buttons down when you boot up the n64. That should take you to a screne were you can erase your saved files.

I believe to erase the files on it, hold Start while you turn on the
N64 with the Pak in it.
While some games (Like Hexen) have a memory manager on them

I always hated hot the 64 handled this. It's not as convenient as what we have now.

Didn't some N64 titles let you delete game saves within the game, outside of the Start button accessing the controller pak?

That's for sure! And don't some games have a menu that lets you actually go into the memory card from there and you can then erase things?

i know mystical ninja had this somewhere in options. thats how i deleted any files i didnt need/want, and it also let me look at what was on the memory pak, and how much space i had left :P
