I've been reading alot of old video game magazines, some of them during the era of the 32X, and it's weird seeing all these pictures of 32X games that never came out.

It's weird because alot of them appear to be complete finished, but for whatever reason, they never ended up getting released.

It's a damn shame that the roms to these games haven't been leaked out onto the internet.

It would be cool to play some 32X games that never saw the light of day, but might have been decent 32X games.

I'm talking about games like Heavy Machinery by Scavenger. Or games like Jet Ski Rage by Velocity. In fact, Jet Ski Rage is the one 32X game that actually looks like it's really a 32 bit game. Spot Goes to Hollywood by Virgin is a game that was actually 100 percent complete.

It's a damn shame that you can't somehow play that game.

Anybody ever come accros any roms of any unreleased 32X games?

for a huge list of unreleased 32X games check the 32XMemorial, no roms have appeared until know, don't know why, Spot goes to Hollywood was released on some systems though, it was also cancelled in a promising state for SNES

I like reading those old magazines, too... I understand that heavy machinery was almost finished and was being shopped around but was never picked up. i didn't know spot was done, too.

i know there are several versions of virtual hamster floating around... i don't think it got real close to completion. x-men has some playable levels... think the psx/saturn hulk game.

I still want my free copy of Surgical Strike 32X CD! Sega had a promotion for it where you could mail in proofs of purchase for other 32X CD games and they would send you a Surgical Strike 32X CD. I sent mine in within the first week of the promotion, but they wrote back and said there wasn't enough other submissions to justify making the game so they offered me a free Sega CD game instead. I got Wirehead, which was OK, but I wanted that Surgical Strike! I can't believe they would have a promotion for a game they hadn't even made yet, and then decide they weren't gonna make it because they didn't get enough proofs of purchase mailed in from people, that is just silly.
