Where the original DS protos working at E3?

I wonder what happened to them if they worked. Think they'll ever pop up on ebay?

Yep, they were working, and yep, I expect several of 'em to eventually find their way into collectors' hands, but not through high-profile eBay auctions.

Nintendo was also giving out T-shirts with an outline of the now-prototypical DS on the back of each, and I was lucky to score one, now filed away with my SEGA VR pin and Evil Twin figurine.

What I want more than anything is the original Game Boy Advance developer's unit, the large PCB with LCD and buttons, and external SNES pad. The "AGB TS2 Dev Board" as it's called.

I got like five. Every time I left the room they handed me another one, and I was in and out of there a LOT.

I wish I'd had the luxury to pay multiple visits to the DS Chamber, but E3 for me is a three-day sprint. Cool that you've got a stockpile of Ts.

Evil Twin for Dreamcast?

The figurine was a promotional item for the unreleased North American PS2 version. I've still got the reviewable beta around here somewhere.

Yeah, all I had to do was point to the word "Nintendo" on my badge, and they left me alone.
