Sorry. For the Mystery Sound Game, there are never, NEVER any hints, clues, or guidance. Sometimes the answer is obvious, sometimes obscure, but most of the time, it's a sound you've all heard. I'm not one to use some never-before-heard-of rare Neo-Geo Japan-only game.

If it's a common-enough release (console or arcade), it's probably been used. Good luck.

You know, I've run the DP Mystery Sound game off-and-on for a few years. And - usually - I get one or two correct answers DAILY for whatever sound is posted. But this time around, I must've really posted something more obscure than I thought, for I have very few correct answers. And those that are incorrect are all over the map.

So - for the first time EVER - I'm posting a hint as to the Mystery Sound. Anyone who doesn't see this post misses out. Consider this a gift, though I don't think it'll help much. Here's your only clue:

This month's Mystery Sound is from a stand-up arcade game - not from any console game. However, this game WAS later adapted and released for several consoles.
