Aren't GBA SP's region free anyway? If so you could still play any game on it. If not you will probably be able to get a modded one from Lik-Sang, though it will be quite pricey.

GBA SP's are region free, but hopefully you have a charger that plugs into a American plug. Otherwise, you can snag a USB charger.

Remember, you can use a US SP charger on any SP now when you're in the US ;)

no we don't make it up, number of limited edition consoles (not incl. the standard one):
dreamcast: 1 (200 pieces or something like that, so no mass release)
gamecube: 1
ps2: 2
xbox: 2
gba: 3 now, 2 coming
i don't think you have less variants and if not many...
