where were these games originally sold...were they available at certain stores, or was this some sort of mail away type thing.
i ask this question, because, not knowing the answer, i would think that these were originally sold at porno shops
if my assumption is true, has anyone checked any seedy local shops looking for these games? ..... anyone done this and get lucky at actually finding them sitting in a corner somehwhere all cover in dust or something like that??

I have no idea where they were originally sold , but it's weird as hell that you mention it, because my friend asked me the same thing today when I told him that the panesians existed. You can try looking for them at your local porn store ,you'll prolly find some pretty sweet stuff there but I doubt any of it will be NES related. LOL
Kinda off topic , but I am looking to purchase any one of the 3 panesians , but I want Hot Slots in particular. The game has to be in mint condition and I will pay $300-400 depending. If you have one and will sell it , please pm me or reply here.

When I found the Bubble Bath Babes it was sealed...
It looked to have been sitting in old stock.. within the Video Store..Old type video store//to this day they still have mainly VHS tapes for rent..not many DVDs
Though they have TONS of Porno stuff..that game was mixed between porno VHS tapes and NES boxed games for sale.
Dusty old stuff that was most likely sitting in the back of the store for ages.
And they constanly put out more stuff..I've found lots of boxed NES items at that place..
Everything in the old video store is old....It's just a dusty old mom & pop video store.
Even the owners are old and dusty.. :P
I've heard rumors and speculation about finding Panesians at local porn shops. I, for one, wouldn't go snooping through a porn shop for a videogame, when it is hit or miss. See, I live in a small area, easy way to get a "Dirty" reputation.

The generally excepted origin was from mail order that specifically catered to rental stores. Judging by where these turn up mainly, this is the most likely scenario.

A *long* time ago, I've heard stories on some NES sites saying how the Panesians were available for sale thru the back of certain porno magazines. I checked thru my extensive collection and couldn't find any evidence of this though. Probably just a b.s rumor.
I found 2 of my Panesians at a local video store chain. They did rent porn, so I'm guessing that they were exclusively available to stores that rented/sold that kind of stuff.
