Just bought the game for $3.50 cause of multiple recommends from lots of gamers.

WOW was my intitial response. Great graphics. Great gameplay. Neat concept.

But 2 hours later I found myself bored. The music does not appeal to me and the game felt repetitive. Looks like another candidate for ebay.

I really liked that game until the amount of button presses were too many and I could not keep up because of the button configuration.

Yeah, everyone said amplitude was SOOO much better than frequency. I played them both for more than a few hours, and they seem EXACTLY the same to me.

A custom controller MIGHT go a long way in helping this game, but I'm not sure.

Shoulder buttons are your friends.

I love the Frequency & Amplitude games. They introduced me to Freezepop, so they are automatically worth having on that count alone.

Exactly what he ^^^^ said. I just bought all the freezepop albums and a t-shirt 2 days ago :D

Shoulder buttons are the only way you can play. One button per finger, you CANNOT do it with a thumb alone. I *still* get a chuckle when I introduce people to the game and they say they'll prove me wrong and it's possible to play the game with square, triangle, and circle.

They play a few rounds, get used to the easy songs, then I toss them up to one of the harder ones (still in easy mode though). They toss the controller back my direction and tell me I'm right.

I usually used L1, X, R1 from what I remember (left finger, right thumb, right finger.)

Would have been eseir with three big buttons, and moving with your foot or something. OK, I don't have the track switching figured out, but three big buttons to smack would be nice.
