Whatever they might be, I know DP is better :P AA as well, of course, does a great job.
There's a http://www.forumplanet.com/gamespy/gcn, which sort of sucks for classic games discussion (last time I checked, and the fact that there's just one forum for pre-N64 systems discussion - while the N64 itself has its own forum - seems to agree with my judgement from a year back). It's not because the forumers are losers, but nobody really cares to go there so it tends to be dead.
Nintendo itself has a forum; I wouldn't consider that a great place to go either.
Of course there's other places I haven't really cared to check - Gametz.com has some intermittent discussion, perhaps VGMuseum does, and there's GameFAQs as well, but it's become apparent to me that wrong thinking seems to win the day more often at GameFAQs than it does here or at AA.
This place may have crazed fans, but I really haven't seen a forum that does a better job of discussing classic games and systems, anywhere. Some of the smaller forums do pretty well, and some have more adult posters that can bring up interesting things that have been generally forgotten or aren't known, but they're usually smaller in size.

Two great forums. The 2nd one just started out, but the 1st one has been up for a while.
Also, my sig has a good forum, but it's still quite small.
