I can't really complain TOO much, because I got both of mine for free at CGE, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having any problems with controller responsiveness.. The Ms Pac Man one is sketchy sometimes, going up or down. But the Atari 10-in-1 controller really SUCKS. For some reason, it keeps sticking to the right. For instance, when you're playing Breakout, the paddle goes to the far right every time you let go of the controller or stop pushing left. Usually, if you push right on the controller, then you can once again push the paddle to the left without it snapping back to the right. UGH! It's annoying. It does it on ALL the games (ie, Missile Command, etc.).

I have both of the ones you mentioned.
I haven't had any problems with either, but I also don't play them that often. They're nice to pop in when I want a quick break for 5 or 10 minutes and I don't want to actually get the Atari out or whatever, but I never really expected them to be perfect either - good thing, because they're not.
The only fault I have with them is that there are too many paddle games on the 10 in 1. It's about impossible to play Breakout with the joystick anyway. But as far as responsiveness - I've not had a single problem with either of the two (and nobody else I've talked to has either) - maybe you just ended up with a bad set.

I have had that similar problem, I had the Namco games, and it would not move to the left, very frustrating while playing Pac-Man and Rally-X

Mine doesn't do that at all POG -- sounds like maybe you did get a bad set. I do agree that on the 10-in-1, the paddle games are way too sensitive.

Oh well! I figured I'd ask, but like I said, I really can't complain, I DID get them for free :) At least the Ms Pac Man plays ok for the most part, and the games on that are way more fun anyway!

Maybe the mad dash for freebies damaged them somehow?
I've found the Jakks stuff to be very responsive.
