Wow! @_@ More than double the value in the DP Advance Guide. And there's one of those annoying silver rental stickers on the cart label.

Of course, there are noob bidders or possible shills on a (0) account to prevent someone else from winning.

Yikes! I passed up the chance to buy one complete for $40, and even then I thought it was too high.

I wonder if I should have loaded up on loose carts back when GameStop was selling them for $10... o_O Oh well, I'm just glad I got one of them for my own use. :)

Well it IS one of the 2 best games on the Genesis, at least I think so. The other in Phantasy Star 4(?) I think? The one with Chad as the main character.

Very good game, I know I'll have some trouble finding this one complete for a good price. A little while ago I sold a loose cart for 36 bucks.

Man even back in the mid 90's in the days before emus and I couldn't find this game anywhere and I was DESPERATE for it. :P

I ended up finding one local Blockbuster that had one for rent, I got it and pulled the old "it got stolen" b.s. and gladly payed the 35(?) bucks it was to pay for it. It didn't even have instructions LOL ... but at least I got it.

I went through my "Shining" phase about 5 years ago and this was a tough one for me to find. I found it at a local mom and pop store eventually pretty cheap.

More than value, this game is NECESSARY for any strategy or Shining fan... I think its the deepest and most fun game in the series, definitely a Genesis classic.

I think so too, my favorite anyway.

Definately agree to all of you. An amazing game :D Just started to play it on my nomad once again after 4-5 years that I didn't even touch the game.

That rental sticker can come right off you know.

And yes Aussie at $10 a pop you should have picked then up. I mean hell I loaded up on $10 warsong and shadowrun cartridges at GameStop awhile ago to resell at $20 on ebay.

A loose SF2 would have easily sold for that if not more.

not in my experience, number one, its gonna rip the label, number two , its gonna leave behind "VOID VOID VOID" all over the god damn place.

Olive Oil and Rubbing Alchohol. Not only will it clean off the sticker but the cart plastic will look blacker and the label glossy.

Yes, that will work, but there is the chance that the label may tear. Those silver stickers stay on pretty good, and you have to be very careful when removing them from a label.

Goo-Gone does the trick as well.

I usually remove them by heating them up w/ a hair dryer. It loosend up the glue and lets you simply pull it right off.

Maybe it's just me but I find the smell of oranges makes me nauseous. :/
