Anybody going? I'll be there pretty much the entire time it looks like. Going to pick up my Battlezone upright from an op in Louisiana and see what else I don't need, but can't pass up!

Wow, I forgot all about it! I'll have to do some juggling and see if I can't make it down there this time after missing the last one.
Have you ever sold anything through them? I'm wondering if the prices justify the 13%/$13 selling fees. I've got quite a few games I wouldn't mind trading in.

No, I've never sold anything. I'm too much of a packrat to actually get rid of anything! At this point I'd say it's better to wait till the christmas auction, unless you really need the room. Prices are usually a lot higher around christmas.
If you are going to make it in, let me know.

You saw that Q-Bert I got for $100, right? I was thinking of taking that down and seeing what it would go for. :) I could also use a couple of empty cabinets. MAME, MAME, MAME.

You want to sell the QBert? Hmmm... :-P
I think you'd get more than the $100 you have into it!
What condition/kind of cabs are you looking for? Are you interested in any project type games or just stuff to mame? I'm way critical on space right now (that's why I just bought 2 more games) so I'm motivated to move stuff.
Off the top of my head...
Crazy Kong - needs cleanup and monitor adjusting (it's a G07 I just rebuilt) Borad seems to work fine.
Defender - 2 dedicated cabs in good shape. One is painted over, one has the word defender painted over. One boardset, untested but I can hook it up if you want me to.
Asteroids - Empty cab with drilled control panel (for 2 players, 2 buttons each). The cab could use some attention and may end up just being chopped up. You want it, it's yours!
Missile Command - Empty cab that's about 1.5 inches thick instead of the normal .75. Would make a great target for releasing agression, but not much else!
I'm going to have a spare Star Wars upright cab, just not sure which one it will be right now. Nothing left of SW in it, but it'll have a full JAMMA harness.
I'm sure I've got more, just can't remember what all is in there. If you are interested in any of it, let me know!

It's at the Mesquite Rodeo Center this saturday. Will probably be going on all day.
If you are going to make it out, let myself or Flack know. We should try to have a little DP get together!

Not a whole lot. I only stuck around till about 2:00 or so before I gave up on it. There were a lot of mame and multi-jamma games. A couple more of the 1/3 or 1/4 scale games that have been there. Really nice work on them and great for kids!
There was a dedicated Dragons Lair in decent shape, but it was missing the player and disc. There were about 3 or 4 old black and white games, but nothing really notable. Not much in the way of converted games this time. A lot of 25" stuff for pretty decent prices though.
The coolest thing was the Japanese sit down F-Zero GX. I didn't get to see it running, but it looked awesome! Had a full set of pedals as well as all the buttons on the wheel. Even used a flat screen monitor!
There were fewer vids than normal, but about the same number of pins and a whole lot more skill stops.
All in all I'd say you picked a good auction to miss. A lot of the normal people were leaving early because there just wasn't anything really worth buying. I came home basically empty handed myself. Just picked up the Battlezone I bought earlier in the week.
I had my eye out for you Flack. I'm glad I didn't just miss you. There weren't that many people out so I figured if you were there I'd have seen you. Maybe next time!
