I'm not one who is prone to hyperbole... but look at those machines, and look at their condition.

Yeah except way to much hassle to deal with imho, I won't deal with a seller who seems like he is really not going to do much effort, especially for how much money he is wanting. But I guess if you live within driving distance.

Oh really, I totally agree with you there! He can't be bothered to pack them and ship them or find a shipping service or recommend one, he wants you to pay extra to cover Paypal's fees if you use Paypal (which begs the question of whether he expects you to also pay the fee for those fees or not), and he wants you to pay him in full within 5 days so he can leave the country for NZ with all your money and not even give you a damn thing for your money! Oh, but he really cares about these machines and he hates to see them go. That's why they'll never sell. He is a snob, and he just wants to say hey everybody, look what I got, too bad you'll never be able to afford what I want for them! What an asshole, I wouldn't buy them if I could afford it.

"As I don't need the money, I'm reducing the price for all four machines to encourage the sale as a group "
what a tool!!!
this guy reeks of amateurism with all of these obnoxious comments about this and the helicopter and such.

Computer Space, original Pong...
Helicopter...
Dyuuuuh... :hmm:
Let's go with Computer Space.
These machines are very likely worth a multiple of that...if you believe a PAL Kizuna Encounter is worth $10K, certainly they are! LOL
There can't be many of these in existence - but in this shape? O:

If I bought this I would seriously drive out to the guys house in some type of U-haul, hand him the money, put the machines in the U-haul VERY carefully, and bring em home. Hell no would I trust anyone with over 5000 worth of goods.

Snob? If I'm dropping 12k, I *want* to deal with a snob. This guy takes care of his shit - that's important. 100% feedback snob or 96% feeback 'pawn shop guy' (i.e., most of ebay), who do you take?
And I agree - I think the price on these is *cheap*. A few years down the road, I would seriously consider it.

Think about this though, there aren't that many of these left around, and certainly not working, and certainly not being sold as a lot. You buy all four of these and wham, instant, highly desireable collection.
I have bought several videogames through eBay and I've never had a single person refuse cash and I doubt this guy would either. He just doesn't want to get stuck with, like he said, several hundred dollars worth of PayPal fees (who could blame him?).
And like others have said, the minute I won this auction I would be renting a covered trailer and scheduling a week off of work.

I agree, these are museum pieces. If I were wealthy I'd pay the 12k and not bat an eyelid.

I HATE museums. They either belong in the collection of a cool person who'd use em, or some sort of retro arcade.
