WTT for a..laptop PC

I am looking for a basic laptop, i want nothing fancy, all I require is that it is compatible with cable internet, with me having to buy nothing extra for it, in good condition, and no viruses and crap. I will trade alot of games for it, if you would post here, or email me with a pic, or specs, and maybe the value of it.

Again, I am looking for nothing new, just maybe an old laptop someone who might repair them has laying around. I will give you my list of games for trade after I see the offers.

If his doesn't work out, I have one available. It's compatable with cable through a pcmcia card (which you'll have to buy yourself) and i'd only want about $100 worth of stuff for it. Pentium 166, 32MB Ram, 2 Gig HD, I wiped the HD, so you'll need a spare version of windows (or Linux if you prefer) lying around if you actually want to USE it.

charity, if you could find a working one with the above reqs, it would be great, i would give alot of random games for one, Ps2, Ps1, some Nes, DC, random atari, and just some random stuff.

I have one lying around. It's an old Toshiba and it does have an OS on it. Windows 98. It has a CD ROM, floppy drive, carrying case, and some other extras. I forget what all it has on it. I don't have it here at my house right now though, it's at a friend's house, so I'll have to call him to get all the details on it. But if all you want it for is surfing the net, it's all you'd need.

i have access to an old school compaq armada. it is in pretty descent shape. if you are interested, i would do some work to it for you (drop win xp prof in, get you a descent 6gb hd that won't mess up, even take the time to buy you the extra accessories to make it internet ready).

the computer isn't even at my house, but i have easy access to it if you are interested, let me know.

i can tell you that i know for a fact that it may be old, but it will run winxp pro just fine, which means its not as old as 1 of the offers you got.

if you need more details, i can get more over the weekend.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to tell if a PC can run ethernet internet though..but if you can somehow know for sure if it can, get back to me, b/c I haven't heard from the above person yet.

I'm still trying to get ahold of my friend so he can tell me if it has an ethernet card in it or not. I'm pretty sure it does, because I know I've used it to surf the net before, but I don't know all the specs on it. He's the one who gave it to me, so he knows alot more about it than I do. Will let you know ASAP.
