I know that Texas Instruments made it, and the games were these enormous black behemoths. I am unsure as to when it came out, but I did play it in second grade (around 1991). I remember how the television screen we played it on always displayed these blocky, monochrome images (although that may be partially attributed to the fact that we connected the console to an ancient telly.

Hmm. It looked a bit like the TI 99, although it was in a beige color. Thanks for the help!

Actually the TI99/4A did come in beige as well as the silver one that is posted on the mentioned website. Mine is beige. My TRS 80 is also beige. The carts were almost as big as the carts for the TI 99 4/A. There is a picture of the TRS 80 here:

Although it's the carts in your description that confuse me . The only really big cart that comes to mind were for the Atari 5200 but it did not come in beige. Of course I'm no expert either.

Ditto...

Those carts can't even be described as "behemoth". I mean, we're talking Teleng TCS (I think; might be the Colourstars system instead) or Neo-Geo carts if you're talking big.
