I'm sorry, but SNK USA really screwed up..first SNK commerical in over YEARS and they had to ruin it by talking trash about 2D during the commerical and thinking it's more then "Paper Dolls" is kinda slapping SNK in their own face.
Then I heard they have English voices now in the game? wow...that must really really sound bad..."Ora Ora Ora" replaced with "Come On!"

Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like the commercial. o_O So does my SNK-crazy boyfriend. I wouldn't really call it "trash-talking 2D". I think they're just playfully poking fun.

Yeah, I actually liked the commericial too.... I thought it was pretty funny. It also made the game look really cool.
Whered you see the comercial I have yet to see it.

Looked sweet to me. When you've got a bad rap about your games looking like crappy 2d titles, it only makes sense that they'd want to try and shed that a little.

What, it's true. The casual gamer thinks SNK's games look like crap. You think it's a bad idea for them to try and show those people, who make up the bulk of the market, that they can do a "pretty" 3d game?

No, i think that its god damn ridiculous, that 2D games are looked down upon so much, when truely they look better than ugly ass polygons with bad camera angles, SNK is one of the last 2D game makers, and i think that they should be concentrating on new more creative titles for 2D , not shitty lackluster 3D games. metal slug 3D looks horrid, and this isn't much better. many elements of the 2D KOF titles was lost in this game, its not as fast, its MUCH easier, and just loses some of the original feel of the previous KOF titles. i cant see how you could say SNK has a wrap of making ugly 2D games, ill pick hand drawn games over computer generated anyday.

I've seen it on Spike TV a couple of times, and I thought it was amusing.
True I'm not rushing out to buy it, but at least I know it exists now.

well I'm not a diehard neo fan but I do believe SNK could be shooting themselves in the foot. this is like when some great underground band goes mainstream but the mainstream doesn't buy it so they try to go back to their fans but their fans don't buy it either now. I really doubt that my friends that love Tekken are going to buy this. SNK has a great niche market with lots of fans and by doing this their only going to piss off people like 330 Mega while this title heads to the bargin bin (where I'll be picking it up :) )

I'm a serious Neo Geo fan who pre-ordered KOF:MI, picked it up this morning, and has had a lot of fun with it so far. If you're not interested in the game, then don't buy it. Simple. If you'd prefer a new 2D KOF, then get yourself an Atomiswave - there's that nice Neo Wave titled out now. I'm sure you're willing to drop the $1000+ on it to support 2D over 3D.

its hard, but it is possible to get loose copies of games, they dont all have to be the kits, im gonna buy the demolish fist set and try and get ahold of a copy of neowave loose.
