Recently got one of those post-disconinued NGPC bundles with the machine and six games. Does anybody know where a good source for accessories (carrying case, some sort of light, etc) might be found? I checked Lik-Sang but they seem surprisingly devoid of this sort of thing.

It's a really nice handheld system, by the way. Mostly I've been playing Metal Slug 1st Mission on it. Sorry I missed this system in its heyday, but you live and learn.

I think it was www.neo-geo.com that had a pretty nice selection, accessories and games both. They even had copies of Cardfighters Clash, which if you didn't get in the six-pack you should find as soon as humanly and physically possible!!!

Hope these help:

Nearly every game I bought (and reviewed there), I got on E-Bay for less than $5.

you can get an AC adapter at amazon.com and they also still have a couple of games left

edit: also make sure you read the review of the guy who hates AC adapters LOL

Get a flash card. I'll bet they'll be dirty whore cheap. And when I say Dirty whore, I mean nice Kentucky school girl. And when I say Nice Kentucky school girl, I mean I've almost beat Silent Hill 4. If Chewbacca is from Endor, you must acquit. O_O

Oh no, he is using the Chewbacca defense!! :) Actually I have been looking for a flash card myself but haven't been able to track one down. Which games did you get with the system besides Metal Slug? I would suggest Metal Slug 2, Gals Fighters and my favorite CRUSH ROLLER!!! ;)

Sadly not. It's about the one bit of kit that's gone UP in price over the years. You'll be lucky to find a 32Mb unit and the linker for under $150...

You should carry it with you EVERYWHERE YOU GO and check the horoscope function on it constantly (for those of you who don't know, the NGPC really does have a horoscope function on it. It will tell you about your health, lovelife, and money earning potential for any given day.)

Refer to it for EVERYTHING.

If you are on a job interview, pull it out right before the interview starts. If a sexy girl wants to have sex with you, pull out your NGPC and make sure its a good day for it. Base your entire life around the horoscope funtion of your Neo Geo Pocket Color.

I know I do!

Games included with the bundle:

Metal Slug: 1st Mission
Samurai Showdown 2
Pac-Man
Fatal Fury 1st Contact
...some puzzle game whose name escapes me and I can't figure out
King of Fighters R2

So if you're big on fighters (which I'm not, terribly) it's a really good deal. I have also seen additional bundles of 4 carts each with titles like that Dark Arms and the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog going for $20 each. No instructions, but it does include dust sleeves which is nice. $5 a game ain't too shabby a rate to build a modest NGPC collection.

I saw the horoscope function and thought it was interesting, but I think I'll pass on using the NGPC as a tool for personal guidance. It's good, but not that good.

Thanks to all who posted suggestions. Hey, it looks like Lik-Sang has that bundle in stock. Check it out:

BTW, I got mine at Hastings for those of you lucky enough to have one nearby. Hastings rules...
